This necessity has rapidly accelerated the development of digital technologies and the political will to use them in the field of development cooperation and peace work.

International peacebuilding networks offer incentives for more digital networking and IT experts are promoting the joint development of new instruments. The complex spectrum of new opportunities, challenges and risks continues to evolve and will increasingly shape the work of all peace actors.
