In her book, author Katarina M\u00e5nsson examines the relationship between human rights and mediation by analysing past and present mediation processes, from the early beginnings of United Nation&#8217;s mediation efforts to recent examples like the peace process in Colombia. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Despite both human rights and mediation being vital for settling conflicts peacefully, the role of human rights in mediation processes still is a largely unexplored topic.
