Katrin is head of communications at FriEnt. The communications expert has over 20 years of experience in the national and international public sector and the private sector. Her focus is on strategic communication, media, and public relations, as well as the conception and implementation of events. Her career has led her to the European Commission in Brussels, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna (UNIDO), and the German Catholic Convention, where she worked as the spokesperson. Since 2018, Katrin has been working for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). In this context, she was responsible for the organisation and implementation of high-level political events for the health sector during Germany’s G7 presidency in 2022. She has also worked as a communications advisor on various projects, including in the areas of foreign trade promotion and anti-corruption.
