Werden Friedenssicherung und Geschlechtergerechtigkeit in der entwicklungspolitischen Praxis ausreichend berücksichtigt? Diese Frage untersucht die 2021 DEval-Studie zum Thema Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter in elf verschiedenen Post-Konflikt-Kontexten.

Immer öfter werden Projekte der deutschen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (EZ) in fragilen Kontexten durchgeführt, in denen vor allem Frauen stark unter den Auswirkungen von Konflikten leiden. Gleichzeitig ist bekannt, dass Frauen eine entscheidende Rolle in der Prävention von Konflikten und in der Friedenssicherung spielen. Deswegen rückt die deutsche Entwicklungszusammenarbeit auf Gender-Mainstreaming, also die Integration einer Geschlechterperspektive in alle entwicklungspolitischen Strategien und Vorhaben, in den Fokus.

Inwieweit Gender-Mainstreaming in der deutschen EZ dazu führt, dass in Post-Konflikt-Kontexten Aktivitäten durchgeführt werden, die zur Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter beitragen und somit auch auf friedliche und inklusive Gesellschaften hinwirken, untersucht die neue Studie des DEval.
