FriEnt and CSPPS pay tribute to the life of Dr Hibo Yassin Haji Yussuf – an extraordinary peacebuilder, advocate, and cherished member of our community. Sadly, she passed away in June 2025 at the age of 57.
Known for her honesty, courage, and unwavering commitment to justice and gender equality, Hibo Yassin inspired countless people throughout her life. Her sudden loss left a profound void among colleagues, friends, and partners worldwide. Yet, her legacy continues to guide and inspire the peacebuilding community.
