20 Jahre Terrorismusbekämpfung in den Vereinten Nationen

Neuer Bericht zu den Folgen von 9/11

Dieser neue Bericht von Saferworld und der FES New York zeigt, dass das System der Vereinten Nationen nach den Anschlägen vom 11. September 2001 von einigen Mitgliedsstaaten für eine kontraproduktive Anti-Terror-Politik missbraucht wurde.

Zum Jahrestag der Resolution 1373 des UN-Sicherheitsrates veröffentlichten Saferworld und die Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung New York einen aktuellen Bericht. Die Resolution definierte einen umfassenden Auftrag zur Terrorismusbekämpfung für die Vereinten Nationen. Der englischsprachige Bericht bilanziert nun die menschlichen, wirtschaftlichen und sozialen “Kosten” des UN-Ansatzes zur Terrorismusbekämpfung seit dem 11. September.
