Die GIZ-Publikation „Jugendliche gestalten Wandel” trägt Erfahrungen zur Förderung sozialer und politischer Beteiligung Jugendlicher innerhalb und außerhalb der GIZ zusammen.

Im Rahmen des Projekts „Jugend als Mitgestalter nachhaltiger Transformation in und nach der Covid-19 Pandemie“ legte die GIZ zwischen 2022 und 2024 einen Fokus auf Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen der Förderung sozialer und politischer Partizipation junger Menschen. Neben diversen Pilotmaßnahmen, internen und externen Workshops entstand zum Ende des Projekts die Publikation „Jugendliche gestalten Wandel.“ Die Studie trägt Erfahrungen zur Förderung sozialer und politischer Beteiligung Jugendlicher sowohl innerhalb der GIZ wie auch außerhalb (z.B. aus dem Spektrum der Jugendförderung in Deutschland) zusammen und bietet Anregungen und Empfehlungen für zukünftige Vorhaben. Daneben streift die Studie die Rolle, die umfassende, aktuelle Dynamiken – wie Fragilität, Klimawandel, feministische EZ, Digitalisierung – auf die Beteiligung von jungen Menschen haben und welche Chancen sich daraus ergeben können. Um unterschiedliche Interessenstiefen gut abholen zu können, finden sich in einem eher knapp gehaltenen Haupttext diverse verlinkte Möglichkeiten, um einzelne Beispiele, Ansätze, Diskussionen und Dilemmata zu vertiefen.

The intersessional climate negotiations (SB64) in Bonn concluded with sobering results. Climate justice was a central theme in many discussions and rounds of negotiations, but issues surrounding climate finance prevented an agreement from being reached. Negotiations on the global adaptation target, for example, must start again from scratch. The nexus of climate, peace and security was largely overlooked in the negotiations, as well as in the action agenda presented by the Turkish COP31 Presidency.
